Raleigh police investigate overnight murder

RALEIGH Investigators say the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 200-block of Lincoln Court. One man was transported to Wake Med with serious injuries where he was later pronounced dead.

With flashlights, police spent the overnight hours searching for clues around the house.

One person was scene in a patrol car, but police will not say if that person is connected to the investigation.
