Bus number 498 was pulling out of River Oaks School into New Bern Avenue when it was hit by a wrecker.
Officials say 20 students from Ligon Magnet School, Enloe High School and River Oaks Middle School were on the bus. No injuries were reported.
Traffic was delayed as officials worked to clear the scene.
