The city approved developers to build /*Powerhouse Plaza*/ at the intersection of West and Jones streets -- across the street from 42nd Street Oyster Bar.
The property will have retail on ground level, five floors of hotel rooms and five floors of office space.
A 54-hundred sq. ft. bar will go on the building's rooftop.
The developer says construction could start this fall and he hopes to be finished in the spring of 2010.
