Investigators say James Cromartie, 28, is their prime suspect. He's described as 5'4" tall, weighing 120 pounds.
Cromartie was last seen leaving the crime scene in a newer model black four-door passenger car.
Cromartie has a past history of assault with a deadly weapon.
