Murdered college student's grave vandalized

GASTON COUNTY Someone killed Ira Yarmolenko in early May. The 20-year-old was a sophomore at UNC Charlotte. Police still have not caught the killer. And now, someone is tearing down flyers that are asking for information. Her brother thinks it may be the killer. "If it was someone on their way to work every day and they murdered my sister, they wouldn't want to see those flyers on their way to work," Pavel Yarmolenko said. Her family also says the young woman's grave in Chapel Hill has also been vandalized. It claims someone dug up two pots of flowers planted by Yarmolenko's mother.
