Wake County Register of Deeds moves

RALEIGH, NC The office is closed Monday and Tuesday as it moves into its new location on Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh. That means anyone trying to get a marriage license, or birth and death certificates will have to wait.

The closing also affects anyone who needs to record real estate. The office reopens Wednesday.

The Wake County Register of Deeds is moving to make way for Wake County's new justice center which will go up at the intersections of Martin, Salisbury and McDowell Streets.
