The accident happened at the curve on Columbia Street as MLK blends into Columbia just before Rosemary near downtown.
Kearney, 20, is charged with driving while impaired, provisional licensee (under the age of 21 and drinking), underage drinking, reckless driving, felony hit-and-run. It was also reported that he was trying to leave the scene by walking away. He also had two fake ID's, so was also charged with two counts of having fictitious ID.
Kearney recorded a .18 on the breathalizer and his bond is set at $50,000.
