Raleigh police find deceased man

RALEIGH Shortly before 5 p.m. Monday, Raleigh Police Department officers responded to the 400 block of Chapanoke Road where they located the body of a deceased male in an outdoor area.

Tuesday, the deceased male was identified as 60-year-old Hardy Bunion Gilbert.

An investigation into Gilbert's death is continuing.

Anyone with information concerning Gilbert's recent whereabouts or activities is asked to contact the Raleigh Police Department's Detective Division at (919) 890-3555.
