Both shootings happened just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers say they found a man with a gunshot wound to the hand on north Hyde Park Ave. His injuries are not life threatening.
Police found a second victim critically injured on Juniper Street. That person was shot in the stomach. So far police don't have any suspects.
