It was reported that the driver of a pewter or champaign colored Lincoln or Mercury struck a Fayetteville city employee and fled the scene toward Blue Street. The driver of the vehicle has been described as a light-skinned black male with dreadlocks.
The pedestrian was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment. The name of the pedestrian is being held at this time.
