Judge rules against Nifong

Dave Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann filed suit against Nifong in October, 2007. They charge that they suffered personal injury when Nifong allegedly pushed ahead with rape charges related to an incident with a stripper at an off-campus party.

Nifong filed for bankruptcy in January, effectively putting the player's case on hold.
