"I don't have GPS in this car. I don't leave anything valuable in sight. If I have anything valuable it goes in the building with me," said Thomas Lester, who works in the building.
Patients say they've gotten the message.
"Especially packages, or anything that I don't want to have taken, I just put it in the trunk and lock it up and that works pretty well," said patient Nancy Lee-Phillips.
Lee-Philips said she thinks the bad economy is part of the problem.
There's a lot of people who are in dire straits and they're trying to get whatever they can get to make it through I suppose. It's not right, but I understand," she said.
Police say no matter where you go, it's never a good idea to leave valuables in your car out in plain sight. That's just a temptation for thieves to break in.
