Officers found Anthony Markice Bowling shot to death Friday morning. Residents in the area report hearing three gunshots the night before.
Relatives believe he was headed to his aunt's house when he was gunned down.
Raleigh Police have charged 18-year-old Jordan Glenn Peterson with murder. He's in the Wake County Jail.
They've also charged 29-year-old Erica Denise Perry with accessory after the fact.
The investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released any other details.
