They were able to shut off the water, and are working to repair the road.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area. Traffic flow was limited as Gillespie Street outbound to Eastern Boulevard was closed and Russell Street outbound to Eastern Boulevard was also closed.
Additional traffic lanes are open and all lanes are expected to be open by 5 p.m.
The cause of the break is not yet known. No customers are currently without water service.
