Denis-Terron was standing on Herbert Street with a group of males when the shooting occurred around 11 p.m.
Four other men are also charged with killing the teenager.
Carlos Mendoza, 16, Ricardo Perez, 20, Rodrigo Villegas, 19, and Jose Luviano, 16, are all still on the run.
Investigators arrested Erick Calderon, 17, of Meriwether Drive on March 1. He was placed in Durham County Jail without bond.
