A security guard watching a television camera monitor spotted what looked like a man entering the hospital with a gun in his hand. A copy of the image was sent out to hospital staff by email and the facility was put on lockdown.

Henderson officers say it turned out the "gunman" was actually 17-year-old John Christopher Cole of MLK Drive in Greensboro. He was found at nearby Kerr Vance Academy where he is a student and the "gun" turned out to be a BB gun.

Cole was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, posession of alcohol under age, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a weapon on school grounds.
