Man wanted for shooting that injured child

Police are searching for a man they say was involved in a shooting that injured an 11-year-old.On March 21, Raleigh police officers responded to a shooting at a residence on Lightner Lane. Police say an 11-year-old boy, who was asleep inside the apartment, was struck in the right arm by a bullet during the shooting. The child was treated for a non life-threatening injuries.

Police have issued a warrant for 20-year-old Michael Wayne "White Mike" Hutchinson. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Hutchinson is a white male who is 5' 11" tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has the letters YMG tattooed on the right side of his neck.
