Police: Man responsible for two robberies

CARY Authorities say they believe one man is responsible for robbing two Cary businesses Sunday.

They say a man claiming to have a gun went into a Walgreens on Maynard Road shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday and robbed an employee

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and some merchandise.

Police also say a Subway restaurant was robbed at 8 p.m. by the same man, who showed a silver gun with black grips.

The man is described as a white male in his 20s. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with blonde or light colored hair and facial hair. He has tattoos on his arms and legs.

In both robberies, the man wore a red hat and khaki shorts. However in the first robbery, the suspect wore a black t-shirt and in the second robbery the suspect was wearing a white t-shirt.

No one was injured in either robbery.
