Residents tired of flooding
RALEIGH Jason Kim said his apartment still smelt wet on Sunday after Wednesday's storm.
He said a foot-deep flood ruined his furniture, TV and computer. There was still water inside his car, out in the parking lot four days after the rains.
"I have nothing right now," Kim said. "I'm a college student at NC State. I have to start all over. I only had a semester left, and then this happened."
Kim said his property insurance didn't cover flood damage and it was too much for him to take so he was moving out.
Kim said he will spend the rest of the summer living with his parents in Greensboro.
