Burlington police are looking for two people suspected of having a methamphetamine lab in a motel room. Royal Inn Suites called police after a maid found the mess - forcing the motel to evacuate guests.

Police say a flash fire melted a light fixture and damaged the bed, night stands and carpet.

According to the Times-News of Burlington, police said the lab is the first confirmed meth lab discovered in Burlington. There are warrants that will charge the suspects with manufacturing a controlled substance and other counts when they are arrested.

The suspects are 31-year-old Heidi Elizabeth Haman and 27-year-old Andrew Joseph Sitze. Their last known address was the Royal Inn Suites.

Anyone with information regarding Haman and Sitze's location should call Burlington Police at 229-3500 or Crimestoppers at 229-7100.
