Two dead in possible murder-suicide

SCOTLAND NECK, NC They say 34-year-old Catherine Ann Flores and 41-year-old Jesus Flores Saanverdra were found with gunshot wounds in a home just outside the town on July 4.

Detectives say their preliminary investigation shows Saanverdra shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

Two of their four children were in the home at the time, but they were not hurt.

Records show the couple had a history of domestic issues.
