Salvation Army will accept change, credit

RALEIGH The Salvation Army's volunteers are taking to the street with their red kettle and credit card readers.

This holiday season several red kettles in Raleigh will be equipped with credit card readers. Chapters in Colorado, Texas and Wisconsin tried it last year.

The Salvation Army say the news kettles helped raise more money than ever.
