Hope Mills man dies in fire

HOPE MILLS The Hope Mills Fire Department told ABC11 Eyewitness News the victim was in his mobile home on Crookneck Dr. when the fire started.

Someone reported the fire just after 1 a.m. Authorities have not released the victim's name. He was found in a bedroom.

Investigators believe a mechanical failure caused the fire.
