Local counties ready for holiday recycling

RALEIGH The program - which runs until January 17, 2010, allows residents to bring in their holiday items and recycle them, instead of throwing them away.

Wake County accepts Christmas trees, corrugated cardboard, chip board, holiday cards, magazines and catalogs, SBS board, and wrapping paper (no foil).
