Three killed in Randolph County wreck

Three men are dead after an overnight crash in Randolph County.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, it happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday on Highway 421 near the town of Liberty.

The Highway Patrol says the driver was speeding when his car ran off the road and hit four trees. One of the men was thrown from the vehicle.

Authorities have not released the victims' identities.
