Fort Bragg hosts sustainability meeting

January 12, 2010 11:52:42 AM PST
Fort Bragg hosted more than 40 Army installations from across the country for an Army-wide sustainability in progress review on Tuesday.

The meeting is the first of its kind.

The goal of the three-day conference is for attendees to get ideas on what makes other posts work and then take those ideas back home and put them to practice.

The sustainability review is expected to become an annual event hosted by a different installation each year. Fort Bragg was chosen to host the first meeting because of its groundbreaking work in establishing the benchmark for the Army's sustainability values.
