Leak found at Shearon Harris plant

WAKE COUNTY Officials say about 1,000 gallons of low-level radioactive water seeped into the surrounding soil.

The spill has been contained and is unlikely to reach the water table.

Crews also say the public's health and safety are not affected by the leak.

Further details about the incident have not been released.
