Family and friends gave a hero's welcome at Pope Air Force Base to more than 300 soldiers from the 50th Signal Battalion arrived home overnight after serving in Iraq.
"We're going to have a big celebration of love and life and being home together," soldier wife Adrienne Sanker told ABC11 Eyewitness News.
Lt. Col. Brian Foley exclaimed, "Outstanding, amazing! I could not be more proud of how these soldiers did."
While in Iraq, the soldiers were responsible for providing battlefield communications.
