The state Department of Transportation is holding a forum for small businesses on Wednesday. The purpose is to provide tips on how to do business with aviation, highway and transit authorities that may have federal stimulus dollars to spend.
The annual conference aims to help small businesses, especially those owned by minorities and women, learn ways to stay alive in this economic climate.
Last year's conference involved more than 200 business owners and 150 representatives from government organizations looking to connect with contractors and suppliers.
