Man tied to string of Wake County break-ins

44-year-old, Darryl Lee Brown, of Durham is charged with more 30 break-ins

A man arrested for breaking and entering by Cary police has now been successfully linked to more than 30 commercial break-ins.Police say all the break-ins happened in parts of Wake County.

Authorities arrested 44-year-old, Darryl Lee Brown, of Durham back in July for breaking into the Planet Smoothie on Cornerstone Drive in Cary.

While being held police were able to link Brown to more than 30 other similar cases across Wake County.

Brown is now charged with two counts of Felony Breaking and Entering and pending more charges from other jurisdictions.

Police linked Brown to a handful of break and entering cases including a robbery at Cary's Spirits Pub & Grill on Chatham Street.

Police say all the cases took place between December 2008 and July 2009.
