Garner mayor has Parkinson's disease

GARNER

Williams says he's had the symptoms for a while and first went to a doctor after a second-grader asked him why he was shaking.

Parkinson's disease is a disorder of the nervous system that often causes tremors or shaking and slow movement.

The Mayor says he takes medication three times a day and that helps manage his symptoms.
