Bridgette Brown James, 43, of 103 Brock Street, is charged with embezzlement.
Detectives say she took money from the school in January and used it for her own financial purposes. They didn't say how much James allegedly stole.
James was booked into the Wayne County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
