Sheriff Lindy Pendergrass said Wednesday that his officers served a search warrant at a home on Alston Drive in the Dogwood Acres neighborhood of southern Orange County and arrested Larry Johnson Edwards.
He is accused in two separate alleged sexual assaults reported to the sheriff's office earlier this week.
Edwards is charged with two counts second-degree sexual offense, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and first-degree kidnapping.
He was being held in the Orange County Jail on a half million dollar bond.
