Middle school principal faces sex charges

WILSON, N.C. Ronald Earl Barringer resigned his post as principal Friday according to the Wilson Daily Times. He was arrested the same day, according to the N.C. Administrative Office of the Court.

He is due in court Monday.

Wilson County Schools Superintendent Larry Price recorded a phone message to parents Friday night about Barringer's resignation and arrest.
