Health officials say anyone who visited a local farm recently may have been exposed to a rabid donkey and should see a doctor.

The donkey at Elodie Farms in Rougemont died on April 8 from rabies. Testing revealed the donkey did not spread rabies to any other animals, but people need to be examined.

Anyone who visited the farm after March 10 should visit a doctor and ask about getting a rabies vaccination.
