Police found the suspect's vehicle on Lindsey Street. They arrested Shontay Lavar Cotton for felonious assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun.
Officials say Cotton and an acquaintance were involved in the shooting. There were minor injuries due to a physical assault, but there were no injuries due to the gun shot.
Cotton is currently being held at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office is continuing investigate the incident.
