William Neal was found guilty in Wayne County Tuesday. Wednesday, a judge sentenced him to three life sentences plus 10 years.
Neal was indicted eight months after Dwayne Dail was cleared of the crime.
Dail was convicted after a 12-year-old girl identified him as the man who raped her in 1987.
A small sample of semen found on a nightgown showed Dail wasn't the rapist. He was released in August 2007.
