Authorities say the men broke into a home on Smithfield Road near Knightdale early Wednesday morning and threatened the owner with a shotgun.
The victim says the suspects were wearing ski masks and were carrying shotguns. The men allegedly tied up the homeowner and then stole money and a laptop. There have not been any arrests.
Authorities have not released a description of the suspects.
