Military families will be able to get in free to hundreds of museums across the country this summer. The program is called Blue Star and will be announced Monday in San Diego. A partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts is making it possible.

More than six hundred museums have signed up to offer free admission to military families over the summer.

The list includes places like New York's Museum of Modern Art and the Art Institute of Chicago. A handful of science centers and children's museums also are participating.

Museums in all fifty states have signed up to offer the deal.
