Man shot to death in Brier Creek area

RALEIGH It happened at around 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Brier Creek Parkway and Glenwood Avenue, in the parking lot of a business.

Raleigh police have identified the victim as Jason Samuel Wright, 27, of Durham.

They say he was shot multiple times, and died after being transported to the hospital.

No suspect is in custody at this time, and police have not identified a motive, except to say that it was not robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call Raleigh police.
