Boy pulled from lake dies

HARNETT COUNTY

Elijah Caddick died Monday at UNC Hospitals.

He was found unconscious in the swimming area of the lake after disappearing from a birthday party. He was seen playing in the water before being discovered.

The Harnett County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
