According to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office, 55-year-old Ronnie Lee Tanner turned himself in to authorities Tuesday night after learning about warrants for his arrest.
Investigators say Tanner allegedly forced an 8-year-old girl to sit on his lap and then would not let her up. When the victim threatened to tell her grandmother, Tanner allegedly threatened the child.
Tanner is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond. He is expected to make a first court appearance later today.
