Police say 24-year-old Anecia Neal of LaGrange was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Michael McGee. McGee lost control of the vehicle around 7:45 a.m. on Salem Church Road before crashing.
Police say the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed before it hit a utility pole and came to rest in a wooded area.
Neal died from her injuries at the hospital. Police did not provide McGee's condition.
The crash is under investigation and no charges have been filed.
