On August 26, investigators say Shonshi Chavez and Marcus Johnson were riding in a vehicle on Hooks River Road when a vehicle began to follow them.
The suspects in the vehicle opened fire on Chavez and Johnson, hitting Johnson. His condition is not known. Chavez was not injured.
Police identify the suspects in the second vehicle as 21-year-old Trevis Kinsey, also known as Choo-Choo and d 21-year-old Kelvin James, Jr., also known as Kevin Jr. or Jr.
