Detectives with the Nash County Sheriff's Office say two sets of human skeletal remains found last week were men in their 30s.

Captain P.J. Joyner said that's information from the medical examiner, but the remains have yet to be identified.

The skeletons were found on Quarter Road Wednesday, September 8. That's a dirt road between Highway 43 and Grover Road north of Red Oak. The case is being treated as a double homicide.
