Fort Bragg soldier killed in Raleigh wreck identified

RALEIGH According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Edwin Ramosr was transitioning from I-40 eastbound onto US-70 eastbound at the US-70 Clayton Bypass just before 4:30pm, when he lost control, locked up his brakes, slid to the ground, and struck a nearby guardrail.

He was taken to WakeMed, where he later died.

No other vehicles were involved, and Troopers say alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the accident.
