Zara Claire Baker was discovered missing Saturday afternoon by her parents who told police they searched for the girl for about an hour before reporting her missing around 2 p.m.
They had last seen her 12 hours earlier.
Baker is a white female, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 85 pounds. She has brown hair, blue eyes, is hearing impaired, and has a left prosthetic leg.
She was last seen wearing a camouflage T-shirt and black knee-length tights at 21 21st Avenue, Hickory, NC.
