Fair vendors accused of pedaling fake merchandise

RALEIGH A raid conducted by various law enforcement agencies this week uncovered more than $80,000 worth of counterfeit goods -- everything from NFL merchandise to designer handbags, even fake Disney-themed items.

The North Carolina Secretary of State's office says 50-year-old Martin Cohen is charged with one felony count of criminal use of a counterfeit trademark. He is from Florida.

Two other people are also facing misdemeanor charges related to the raid. Authorities say their booths at the fair have been shut down.
