Duke police seek robber

They released a composite sketch of the man Tuesday.

October 9, a female student told Duke police she was near Jarvis Residence Hall at about 2:10 a.m. when a man approached, said he had a gun, and demanded her purse. The suspect then walked her to the side of the building near Campus Drive. The student was then able to run free from the suspect. No injuries were reported.

The man is described as a Hispanic male between 18 to 25 years old and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He is about 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing blue jeans, a green ball cap and a dark blue hoodie with American Eagle writing on the front.
