Police requested Creedmoor Elementary School be on lock down after the robber was spotted near the school around noon.
GC Hawley Middle School and South Granville High, along with The Center for Innovative Learning were also put on lock down.
The schools returned to normal activities soon after.
Further details about the robbery have not been released.
